TLH Reckoning Foundation celebrates GivingTuesday, joining millions around the world participating in the global generosity movement on November 28, 2023
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by moving people to give back on November 28, 2023, and throughout the year.
TLH Reckoning Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is part of a larger initiative that strives to create equitable spaces and opportunities for females through soccer. Specifically, we work to reduce and, one day, eliminate barriers to access opportunity for our females. TLH Reckoning Foundation zeros in on women’s soccer in the Tallahassee community and surrounding areas.
TLH Reckoning Foundation’s objective for GivingTuesday is to launch and ignite the year-long fundraising campaign as the Foundation aims to welcome the first one hundred donors on Tuesday. The monies received on GivingTuesday and throughout the year goes directly towards player development resources including scholarships. Every donation counts no matter the size.
Launched in 2012 with a simple yet powerful concept, GivingTuesday has evolved over the past eleven years into a global movement that inspires millions to engage in acts of kindness and generosity. From assisting neighbors to advocating for important issues and supporting cherished causes, people express their generosity in diverse ways on GivingTuesday. Every act, whether big or small, contributes to the collective impact. The initiative has successfully raised billions of dollars for crucial global causes and garnered billions of social media impressions as individuals and organizations passionately speak out for the issues that resonate with them, inspiring others to actively participate in their communities.
